King Felipe of Spain is now 48 years old. Felipe VI was born on January 30, 1968 in Madrid. He is the third child and first son of Juan Carlos I and Sofia de Grecia. He ascended the throne as the crown prince after his father Juan Carlos I abdicated the throne on June 19, 2014. Recent times have been troublesome for King Felipe.
