The Japan Imperial Family New Year Greeting, 2016

Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko greet well-wishers with Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako, Japanese Princess Kako and Japanese Princess Mako, Japanese Prince Mikasa and his wife Princess Yuriko from the balcony of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on January 2, 2016. Akihito called for peace in his New Year's greeting to more than 62,000 visitors.
