King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima, Princess Beatrix, Princess Mabel, Princess Laurentien and Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands attended the 2015 Prince Claus Awards at the Royal Palace on December 2, 2015 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Winner of the Great Prince Claus Prize is photographer Newsha Tavakolian from Iran. Every year, the Prince Claus Awards is held at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam in December. The awards honour individuals or organisations for achievements within the cultural or development field. The main award, the Principal Prince Claus Award, is of €100,000, while the other ten Prince Claus Awards are of €25,000 each.
