King Carl Gustaf Of Sweden Opened '400 Years Of Royal Clocks' Exhibition

The exhibition In Course of Time - 400 Years of Royal Clocks was officially opened by The King Carl XVI Gustaf on 22 January 2016 at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

The opening ceremony was attended by Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Christina and Mrs. Magnuson. The opening ceremony took place at Lovisa Ulrika dining hall of Royal Palace and started with the opening symphony of Royal Orchestra.

The exhibition features more than 50 different clocks that are a part of the Royal collection. Some of these clocks are on show for the first time but some date from the 16th century to the present day. The exhibition is being arranged to mark The King's 70th birthday on 30 April 2016, and will be on show until 8 May 2016.
